Higher yield and higher sugar content

The field trial confirmed the positive effect of Green On® on the yield and quality of sugar beet. Treated crops achieved higher root weight and higher sugar content, which brings growers a significant economic benefit.

  • Farm: Dolňácko, a.s. (Uherské Hradiště district)
  • Crop: Sugar beet
  • Previous crop: Winter wheat
  • Field size: 18.77 ha
  • Field characteristics: Heavier clay soil, a field of average quality within the farm.
  • Application date: 22 May 2024 (BBCH 36 – canopy closure)
  • Trial procedure: The whole field was treated with Green On®, except for the control headlands and one 30 m sprayer pass.
  • Evaluation: 27 September 2024 after harvest – comparison of the control and treated variants on an area of 1 × 1 m².

Visual assessment of the crop

No significant differences were observed in a visual comparison of the control and treated crops.
