POTATOES

This year’s growing season brings growers a number of challenges. Long periods of drought alternate with high temperatures, and in some areas torrential rain and hail have also occurred. Plants are under heavy stress, which has had a negative impact on both yield and quality of production.

That is why we bring you several recommendations to help keep your crops in good condition.

For the regeneration of stressed crops, we recommend applying Tecamin Max at a rate of 1.5 l/ha. Thanks to its high content of free amino acids and organic substances, it supports fast plant recovery after stress, improves leaf area development and helps restore physiological processes.

In the later stage of the growing season, it is advisable to apply Tecamin Brix at a rate of 2 l/ha. The product contains a high proportion of potassium, which:

·   supports the transport of assimilates to the tubers,
·   improves skin maturation,
·   increases tuber resistance during harvest and storage,
·   contributes to a higher starch content in industrial potatoes.

SUGAR BEET

Right now is the time to significantly support sugar formation and maintain healthy foliage.

We recommend:

• Tecamin Brix – 2×2 l/ha at an interval of approximately 14 days to support sugar content and more efficient transport of sugars to the root.
• Scolti Flow – 1.5–2 l/ha together with a fungicide treatment to support crop health.
  
  

SOYBEAN

The flowering period determines the number of pods and the future yield.

We recommend:
Green On Maize – 500 g/ha at flowering. It supplies plants with a complex of nutrients and glycine, which helps them cope with stress and supports pod setting.
Scolti Flow – 1.5 l/ha to strengthen the natural defences of the crop.

Do not forget about the quality of the spray solution
The effectiveness of foliar fertilizers and pesticides is significantly affected by the pH of the water.

We recommend adding Tecnophyt pH+ to every application, because it:
- adjusts the pH of the spray solution,
- improves leaf wetting,
- supports nutrient uptake,
- increases the effectiveness of plant protection products.

This applies especially to insecticides, fungicides, graminicides and also glyphosate, which achieves the best effectiveness at pH 5.0–5.5.
